They've been billing me for the wrong plan for over 4 months now. Three months ago I requested my account be canceled and to this day it hasn't been canceled. I upgraded to preferred customer (or whatever it is called) to get at the top of the customer service list just to get through to customer service and all that accomplished was getting me through only for them to hang up on me when I requested my service be cancelled. Without preferred status I was always getting further back in line - never getting closer to talking to anyone.

If you got hosed by SR, call your credit card company. I had the amount refunded to me, prorated of course.

How unlimited is their 'unlimited' calling? I've yet to see a provider that actually has unlimited outbound.

I've had them for 12+ months and the service has been much improved. I had a lot of echo but they have made big improvements in it. I absolutely love being able to block phone numbers, but don't tell my daughter.

VOIP audio quality is very bad. Echo, distortion, delay and it's not that much cheaper than a regular phone line. I actually tried the viatalk service. I had problems right away and they tried to help, but failed. I gave up after a few weeks. It's a novelty to most people.

I've been very satisfied with VoicePulse for approximately 1 year. They have great filtering & anti-telemarketing tools. $24.99/mo for unlimited US plan.

My friend went with them after SunRocket debacle. And he said they have been great. They even allow him to transfer his leftover months to ViaTalk so he got couple of months for free.
