Harbor Freight is offering 20% off any single item with coupon code 20TOOL [Exp 4/30]. Shipping starts at $7. Excludes select sale items. The pictured 6.5 HP Horizontal Shaft Overhead Valve Gas Engine is $100 - 20% off code + $11 shipping = $91 shipped.
LT warranty on most hand tools. Power tools, not so much. W/ most other "name" brands hand tools(Proto, Blackhawk, Stanley, etc.) made right where HF stuff is, why pay 2-3X? Work the sales, use coupons, OK by me.

"Made right where HF stuff is" doesn't mean anything. For example if a friend wanted me to slap together a $200 computer for him I could and it'd be crap, or it'd be quite a bit better for more money.
Contract suppliers build according to specs at the agreed upon price. Better quality can be had from the very same factory at higher price. It's not that the Chinese can't build great quality tools, it's that they are also masters at building junk for the lowest cost possible which many other countries can't do because of the labor costs elsewhere, environmental emissions costs, workplace safety regulations, etc. Of course building to lowest cost also includes the downsides for the customer, choosing cheapest materials, lower quality machining or heat treating, less quality control, (usually) worse customer support or warranty in many cases.
On the other hand, some major brands like Stanley aren't exactly good quality either, maybe passable quality for homeowner or beginning contractor till they can afford better.
My attempt at sarcasm by quoting Blade Runner failed miserably. When it comes to quality, Harbor Freight is near the bottom of the scale, but like a fool, I still buy tools from there on occasion. For tools that are at all complex (have a motor), or tools that I want to last a while, I shop elsewhere.
As far as this deal, you can subscribe to Popular Science for a few bucks and Harbor Freight usually has a full page ad in each issue that includes a 20% off any item coupon, valid for several months.
You can poke fun at Harbor freight but here are some facts. No item I have purchased fron HF has ever failed to do what I asked it to do. The prices can't be beat. Because of the low prices, I have purchased tools enabling me to do many jobs myself rather that paying a "professional" to do it for $$$ an hour. Yeah I feel bad for the Chinese workers getting paid a nickel an hour to work in sweat shops to build this stuff, but how many tools are actually made by well paid factory workers these days?
Finest quality. Superior craftsmanship.
Um, what is?
Harbor Freights doesn't make anything.
#1 : I thought HFT only make disposable tools....

^ You can find plenty of american made tools at most mom'n'pop hardware stores. They just cost quite a bit more by the piece.
