Twin blades? These are for babies. Seriously, I give them to my 16 month-old son so he can practice shaving like Daddy.

    Cutest. Blood. Ever.

For me, I accept cartridges with no fewer than 38 blades.

38? What a pansy. I start with triple digits.

Does anyone else think it's insane that 2 cents worth of plastic and metal ends up costing over $1 ea?

Dave where do you ever get them for anything less than $3 something each?

I'd be very happy to pay a $1 or so each.

^ I'm just sayin' there is some kind of price fixing going on in the industry, products shouldn't cost THAT much more than they cost to make.

#6, they are using the Apple pricing scheme. Nice products that don't cost an arm and leg to make but they charge like it did. I can tell you that the brand name blades seems to hold up better than the no name cheaper brands. I have used generic brands in the past and none of them last more than a week before they start chafing. The name brand stuff seems to hold up much longer (about a month).

#7 I tried some really cheapo disposables one time when I had a coupon. The were the kind where you throw the whole thing away, handle and all, and cost less than $1 each. I had nicks and cuts all over my face. Definitely a difference in quality. Though do find that the two- and three- blade cartridges work just as well as the four and are a little cheaper.
