    I was excited too. Verbatim DL for a buck a pop? But a rebate? I trust Verbatim to give me my money, but not the buystards.

    Thanks, Ben Jr. The minute Ben removes that info from his posts you gotta jump in and tell us, eh? Well, thanks. Thanks a lot. :p

    But these good ol' Verbatims never failed me, 100% good burns. The Verbatim discs last longer and are of better build quality. Whereas if you use Memorex there's a higher chance the disc won't be recognized by your player later on.

    I gave up on Memorex a long time ago. I had a few coasters burning, and read failures in a few years.

    @cdonbacon
    Memorex sucks so bad that I won't even let Ben translate my cursing. I'll do it for him. Memorex is bacon that takes it up the bacon. Their so bacon that pigs won't even refer to it as bacon. Bacon, bacon, bacon I tell you, just bacon.

    Well I don't like memorex either, but the last Verbatim DL's I bought were only about $.85 each. This is not a deal it's over priced.

    Rebates suck in this economy. Wouldn't buy if I see rebates unless its FREE AR. Having no job is making me think twice if not 3x's before buying anything.

    Yea, rebates are such a pain. Surprised companies even do them these days.
