#1, that's great that PS3 online is free. 11 people own a PS3, and of those 11, the only game they actually play is Resistance, I'll keep rolling with my Live service.
Besides, something that inferior SHOULD be free. I'd be pissed if I spent money for PS Online!

Will this work for someone who has used their free month from an XBOX 360 purchase? eBay people are selling these and one vendor said it's for new subscriptions only. Comments on this please.

I was in the same situation, had the free month that came with it. Then I bought one of these, and it's fine.
That eBay vendor had it backwards. The free promo ones (whether its a pass for 48 hours, or a month) are for new accounts only. There aren't those sort of restrictions on these pay ones.
Jump on it, it retails for $50.
