Sears has the 21-Piece Craftsman S64085 Professional Cobalt Drill Bit Set for $30 - $10% off in cart = $27 with free in-store pickup. Shipping option is $7. Features split-tip design to prevent scarring surfaces. Normally $40+.
If you are drilling anything tougher than free machining mild steel colbalt drill bits are well worth the money. They hold an edge better than high speed steel and cost much less than carbide. When cutting through metals don't forget to use a little oil on the cutting tip and run slower rpm's than you would use while cutting through wood.
These are labeled as professional but a good professional set would cost much more than this set. From my experience these inexpensive cobalt sets easily chip on the cutting edge but are still a better option than high speed steel and are OK for the hobbiest who may occasionally be cutting some of the tougher metal alloys .

But Goob the name states these drill bits are designed for professionals. They wouldn't mislead us, would they?
