    Great TV - I paid $1200 forthis from the Outlet last year, and it has performed perfectly.

    S Don't go lower than 42". And don't go LCD. Plasma is sweet.

    #3 Standard definition can be a very model by model situation and make look better on some units based upon the upconverting/improvement technologies (like pixel plus). I personally feel the brighter plasma tvs take better to standard definition, but to each their own.

    But you can get a 3 year Mack extended warranty for a little over $100 through a promotion with AVSforum.

    I took a look at this at Costco - maybe exactly the same model but cannot be sure since they have different model numbers - and the picture was not so good. I am sure it needed tuning as the color green was so prominent. They placed it besides a Sony LCD which looked great, maybe they want to sell more Sony's!
