I tried to add the games but it's at regular price. When does the sale begin?
If this extends to Wii games I'll be all over it. WHEN, BEN? WHEN? Do not torture us so!
Ben, I know you're excited with all the deals going on.
...but just take a break, relax, and play some games on your iPhone before you post more deals before the links work
the games sound like PC games only.
i don't mind Wii games going on sale for $20
Avoid GoGamer.com at all costs. These jerks have cheated me more than once. They have offered sale prices and then canceled my order after the sale ended without comment. When I asked them why they did this, they just offered to sell me the same item at the regular price. They need to be indited for this criminal behavior. This is not an isolated incident either. Several people have looked into starting class action lawsuits against this sleazy company. Notice how they don't even offer a phone number on their website. This company mistreats users all the time and has zero interesting in being reputable. You may get lucky and get the sale price, but chances are, you'll eventually get screwed by these thugs.
Don't support thieving companies like GoGamer.com. Take your business elsewhere.
Yes, there's nothing more criminal than cancelling orders. It's all part of an evil plot to not take customers' money. Their despicable 8.0 rating at RR is just more evidence that they aren't a legitimate company. Sue them for all they're worth.
Seriously, I've ordered games from their "48-hour madness" half a dozen times. Never had a problem, and the prices couldn't be beat. The $3 shipping is a bit slow.
If you have any doubts about them, they support Google Checkout, so you don't have to give GoGamer your credit card or even email address.
I have used GoGamer several times and have never had a problem.
I have ordered from GoGamer for many years and never once had a problem. I like their site and always check the 48-hour sales. But I do realize that things do sometimes go wrong with orders and it's how sellers deal with these problems that sorts the 'men from the boys'. What surprises me is that there are not more companies like GoGamer around. Maybe that's why there are so many Asian and Russian software sellers on eBay.
I, too, am wondering where, oh where, is this special?
I can understand frustration about an order being screwed up and cancelled, etc. It sucks. Once you order it, you're all excited and can't wait for it to arrive, so any complication just gets under the craw.
Regardless, I don't think it reflects poorly on gogamer.com as a whole. I have never had any problems with them (knock on wood) and LOVE their 48-hour specials.
No deal on HL Orange Box...
