I suspect this is similar to the 36-LED camplight at Meritline that is $7 shipped. Some notes: They say 30 hour life for the 4-AA batteries. As the voltage is unregulated, it starts too high and when low, the LEDs will glow for a long time but dimly. The instructions call for "dry" batteries, and that means no alkaline or NiMH. You put those in and can burn out the LEDs in much shorter time than the stated "over 100,000 hr life. They'll get quite warm. Initially they can take over an amp and at the end only 10 mA or less. If that amount of light is okay for you, about as stong as full moonlight when the camplight is a foot away, then you'll be near blinded with new batteries. I put 3 AA NiMH and a dummy in one and ran it 3 hours (near 3/4 amp) on 24 LEDs before substantial dimming. After that, the light fell off to hardly usable in short order. Light is purplish white and probably attracts insects.
