Well, I've been using them for years with an LG GSA E40L and really almost never got a coaster. I guess it's the burner. This is as good a deal as it gets for now.

The price per GB is still double of the single layer
waste of money, just get multiple regular single layer ones
the price of these remains high because most of DVD media is dual layered (movies, games). if they were to lower the prices, it would persuade more people to go the way of illegal 1:1 copying.
get verbatims.. not only are they better.. but if you look around.. sometimes newegg has them for a better price
