I have a few Samsung drives (older 120 and 200 gig drives). They are silent and semi reliable. I would recommend you go with Seagates 500 and save yourself 10 bucks. Frys.com was selling them for 120 with free shipping when I picked up two last week.

#1 too bad they tested this against the seagate barracuda 7200.10 500gb drive(which they say it beat)
and not against the seagate 750gb 7200.10 listed here often.
