Bought 2 of these a couple weeks ago, have 'em set up in a RAID 1 configuration. Very quiet and decently fast.

bought one of these a few weeks ago. awesome, SILENT drive. Vista Performance Index of 8 would buy again
i bought this samsung after hearing the noise from my WD 5000AAKS (relatively quiet, but the seek noise and vibration annoyed me). the WD was easily loudest component of my system. with the samsung, i can hear my low RPM fan. time to get a Reserator for more silence i guess.
