Wow, the preview picture looks like a pink jumpsuit for that three-breasted chick in "Total Recall"!

Being in the phone business this is a handy tool, does network plugs, phone plugs and handset plugs for less than $7.

I can't buy crimpers like this for twice as much.

A quick look around the web shows others for around this price and they are made from metal. They don't do as many plug types but cover network and phone which would cover my needs. I have little faith in plastic tools.

#5 and 6, being in the phone business, you should know that these cheap crimpers are good for 1 or 2 crimps and then start giving unreliable crimps. Nothing worse than finding a bad connector, installing a new one, and having a crappy crimp tool not crimp all the wires. Then you go looking elsewhere for a problem that you just created with cheap tools.

Plastic or metal in itself doesn't matter, though I agree that if you buy a dirt cheap crimping tool, you might as well use it on your balls as a cable for all the joy it will bring.
