What enables the k cups to work is the ground consistency of the coffee. Sticking store bought grounds and these will not enable the coffee to brew correctly.
Yeah, these don't work all that well.
Agreed, mine was a waste, since even packing it full of fine ground StrBux beans did not make a good cup of coffee.
Odd, I put Dnkn Dnts in mine, and it works great (#3, StrBux resulting in bad coffee is working as intended). Stay away from the fine/dark/strong/espresso grinds, they don't agree much with the stainless screen.
i have two of these and they work fine, BUT you really need to experiment with each type of coffee you use. if you don't pack the coffee grounds in just right, you won't get a good cup. kind of a pain, but once you figure it out you save a lot over buying pods.
Finally got mine in, and they/re fakes.
