So tempting... Need to build HTPC and a SFF Optiplex would be a good starting point...

coupon work only after u login and do the checkout. however, when u add up tax and shipping that amount to 10% in the most cases. I have seen new laptops going for pretty decent prices so wonder why I need to get a refurbish one for a similar price.

#3, because you can get a core 2 processor in a very well unit (820 or 620). These are MUCH studier than the normal $5-600 units,

No, that wasn't the problem. I thought these coupons were for the Dell Outlet, so I didn't follow the link above.

#10, did you make the same mistake #5 did? These coupons are for DFS, not the Outlet. Coupons work -- the discount shows up during checkout.

      Hi #13.

The laptop arrived yesterday. There are no scratches, dents, dead pixels, etc. The case does not look used (but it does look like it was designed in 2006 not 2009).

The screen is 1920 x 1200, bright, and clear. It has the anti-glare coating that went out of style 2 years ago. I must be getting old, because I style prefer this to the reflective screens.

It takes about 40 secs from power-up to get to the XP Pro login screen.

I'm 100% happy with the purchase (but that will change if anything goes wrong after 100 days when the warranty runs out).

Let me know if you want any more information.
