Today only. SquareTrade is offering 30% off their warranties with coupon code SUNSET (up to $30 discount). A 2-year warranty for the iPhone is $123 - $30 off code = $93. Covers normal use issues and drops and spills, including full immersion, which AppleCare does not.
through 8/31, squaretrade was offering the warranty for $90 without any discount code. which ben posted, now with 30% discount it is at $93. F U ben and squaretrade. shady on both parties.
#2, and #3, so you mean to tell me, that within one week, the $90 price was without any discount code, a service can increase its cost by 37%. yes, that made a lot of sense to me.
argue all you want, squaretrade jacked up their price by $33, then offer their so called 30%, to make other uninformed users think that they've got a good deal. "hey 30% off!" where is the honesty in that?
what's even shadier, is ben, cause if you click on the history of the product does not show the previous price. Only when you do a search of the term squaretrade do you find the previous price. fancy that!
That is what companies do when it comes to promotions. They use big coupons or promotion numbers which may or may not be cheaper than yesterdays or tomorrows price. Look at the furniture business or other retail sales. I get what you are saying but that doesn't have anything to do with the quality of service they provide.

YES. Often companies don't raise the price 0.05% every day, they keep it the same for a period of time then the new price reflects the sum of the incremental increases they might have otherwise made.
Regardless, we know discount codes aren't really a way to estimate what the real price is because all you have to do is wait for the next discount code... price increase is really only $3 off and on. Lots of stores put things on sale after a price rise, why would they be any different?

Yes, it's a conspiracy. I bet you also think there are more people on this website than just you and me with a bunch of different usernames.

If one thing is inevitable, prices rise over time on basic commodity items and services.
I know what you mean. Once I went to a store and something was on sale. A few weeks later and it was off sale for more money!
Can't do square trade in WI... Don't know why.. Even with what #1 said much cheaper and better customer reviews than what the stores have.
