For this price, it's outdated and outclass.

I bought this unit 10 months ago and less price. Not a deal...

Yep, I paid less last month also with free shipping, this is standard price or higher.

These normally run $50 plus $5 shipping, so this is a little bit of a deal.

This is highly rated for cooling and quietness.

Actually #5, the 9700 is better (but only slightly and costs like $20 more)...

This isn't much different than the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 at twice the price. Frosty Tech is a great site for H/S comparisons this Zalman runs neck and neck A/C Freezer 7. Unless you’re looking for the bling factor of the LED fan, put the $25 in someplace else.

I was speaking more about the brand than the model. It depends on how much room you have in your case and how much you want to spend. You can't go wrong with the model however and it's 2 or 3 times better than stock.

The 9700 is $4 more on Newegg atm.
