This is the last straw. I refuse to ever purchase anything with the word "Sony" on it ever again. Their stock is at an all-time low and it is well deserved. Good bye, Sony. I am looking forward to the "Chapter 11" news story in your near future.

@1: right on. I like Sony products, but had to deal with their "memory stick" forever, and it was not the most convenient thing to buy or use. Hard to believe they insist on being nasty to their customer base.
Sony blew it with the PSP by not supporting homebrew and SD cards. I would have considered buying a Vita but there were no incentives for prior PSP game owners to upgrade and there is no way in hell that I'm buying another memory stick. Just plain stupid Sony.
looks like Sony's at it again with their proprietary storage media. Gotta figure out new ways to rip of the customers.
