    Still way too expensive.

I'll say. Is changing a stack that difficult? 0.50 to 1.00 per pound gives you a cost of 52.50 to 100.00. So these fancy bowflex (where's the bow?) are three to six times more expensive.

I guess for top CEO's, it's no biggie.... I once heard that it was not cost effective for Bill Gates to reach down to pick up a hundred dollar bill off the ground.

Way too high. You can get them on eBay for under $200 with shipping, same model, brand new.

Jesus f'ing Christ, this is a WORKOUT TOOL. If you are using these to work out, quit being so fucking lazy and swap out the weights yourself. It takes all of 30 seconds.

this only goes up to 52.5 pounds... weaksauce

It's a space saving issue more than a too lazy to change weights issue. Of course I'm not saying they save $300 of space.

Plus, I hate using any machine or free weight that has any shifting, rattle, non-precise rotation, or slack in them, drives me crazy. Also, don't lift weights directly over your head, like military presses, yeah they work good, but you'll smoke your shoulder joints, I have a friend who's a sports trainer / chiropracter, and that's what he sez. Incline press & shrugs are ok.

As others mentioned, it's hard to believe this is worth $300. Most people don't need this much adjustability anyway, 2-3 pairs of dumbbells will handle most exercises you'd "want" to do with dumbbells.

I own this set and to me, it's worth the money. Don't think so? Try pricing out a set of weights individually from 5lbs to 50lbs and tell me what you come up with. Instead of having 10+ sets of weights and a rack, I have this 1 set, which also saves space. This set normally sells for $400 but if you look around, you can find deals where the stand is thrown in for the $400 price (stand runs around $140).
