The creative stone (essentially the same, but with the added bonus of drag and drop file transfer) is still a better deal even at full price ($40)

i bought a refurb shuffle a few months back. I haven't had any problems. Apparently when they make shuffles, they test 3 out of ever hundred or something. When a refurb leaves, they test every single one.

Though the new ishuffle looks better, but the old one is better. you can't exactly just stick the new ishuffle into the USB drive of your computer like you can with the old one. The new ishuffle comes with a cheap mount for transfering files.
