I'm not completely sure if it was this model, but there was a firmware upgrade that helped alleviate the issue with the dark colors. Pretty good deal, I'd jump on it if I didn't spend a #*%#load on something else recently. =\

Is it possible to get a reasonable extended warranty for a referb plasma V? I'd like to get this one of these plasmas but I'm afraid that it will give me problems.
