Well, there's always the mid-rock-climb enema.

At once, #1? Might it stand to reason that if, oh, on a BIKE, you might not have a frige or faucet every 10 yards like you would in a house, so it's not "all at once"?

On a really hot day you can lose a cup of fluid every 15 minutes. Thus, this will keep you from running out on a 2 hour ride. Going a serious distance? This isn't enough you'll have to stop a few times. On a not-so-hot day, you're not so compelled to fill it as full as possible.

Also, experienced drinkers will tell you that 2 x 40 ouncers of malt liquor is a good start (if you're in a hot climate where you need the volume as much as the alcohol), but already more than this can handle unless you drink while filling it.

Well, it's unlikely I'd drink the entire thing "at once", but on a long hike/bike ride this is a great thing to have.
