I'd like to get a laptop one of these days but don't know anything about Toshiba laptops. Anyone know if they're reliable?

Satellites are entry level models. The Qosmios are desktop replacements. I personally love the Tecra series, very durable. I've been using one for almost 3 years, and it's still going strong.

Unfortunately, I have a Satellite -- it's a few years old now and it overheats and shuts off after about an hour of light use. And that's with a cooling pad under it...
