I'd agree with #4--your options are pretty limited with this remote. Just spend $20 or $30 more and get a cheap Harmony.

RF is only an IR extender. It won't control RF devices.

Err, #10 your advice was noted regardless of what anyone else jokes about later.
I do see some potential in this because it has the RF extender, but it has to be recognized as a limited purpose controller unless it happens to support the device with pre-programmed codes.
