i guess if you need a pci card than this is cool but it isnt worth much more than the shipping these days. you can get gpu's for very little.

What makes you think 3d fusion would honor the rebate for sure? You could end up paying as much as you would for an 8400Gs.

#3,you've got to be kidding me! Walmart is still selling legacy Pci cards for a little over 70 bucks a piece.

If you need to hook up 3 or 4 monitors to one machine, then a PCI card is the ticket. Trading setups for instance.

Man, just give them away. These large rebates are stupid.

#3, I think PCI video cards are used mainly for those that want 3 or 4 monitor setups. With a PCI-e card, you can only get a dual monitor setup. I still have some PCI video cards from the old days, but I haven't used them since '03 or '04 when I had 3 monitors going. Boy, did I think I was cool! Little did I know...

If you could actually get this for free, it'd be nice to have laying around in case your current card went south and had to throw a PCI card in til you replaced your card... nice little troubleshooting/quick fix item.

Bingo #15, or it's a nice way to reuse some old motherboard to turn a system into a NAS or fileserver, etc, where it's headless and all you really want is a passive lowest power consuming card reasonably (cheaply) possible. Leave the video at 800x600 @ 8 BPP since that substantially cuts down on PCI traffic and Bob's yer uncle.

Price went up to $21 delivered AR, so it's no loss that it sold out.
