It has one VGA and one S-Video Out port (no DVI): link.

According to Ben's link, it looks like the rebate has expired --
    "Purchase a 3DFuzion FX5500 256MB PCI Graphics Card at Fry's Electronics or Outpost.com between
6/10/08 and 6/30/08." The "postmark by" date was 7/30.

The rebate hasn't expired. Ben just hasn't updated his link (he probably reused text from an old post). This is the correct rebate (good 7/1 to 7/31, postmark by 8/31): link.

What does it matter? If talking PCI cards, which simply cannot perform well enough for newer games due to pci bandwidth issues no matter what GPU it had on it, it needs to be:

    A) Cheap

    B) Low power

    C) Quiet

    D) Good driver support

    E) All of the above?

how old? Irrelevant. Though actually if it's just a placeholder card for a fileserver, etc, an ATI Rage Pro XL is about as good as it gets. ATI put out newer drivers for this ancient card because the chip was used on a lot of server boards, so you can have the sub-5W power consumption of the early '90s card but with a driver for a newer OS. Actually Rage XL was a late 90's card, closer to 2000, but with lower power, heat than it's contemporary alternatives making it closer to the power consumption seen half a decade earlier.

I still have one of these running on one of my spare computers. Won't play Crysis, but BF2 works ok.

I couldn't pass this one up. I bought this for my wifes Compaq computer that only has integrated video graphics. This will free up some of her RAM and will be much better than integrated intel graphics, that's for sure.
