    #1 first pic shows three AA batteries in the back. Or AAA. Or one AA and two AAA if you really look closely. Maybe it's a a requirement for the "advanced notion sensing technology"

    Based on the spec'd length of 22cm along with the pic, it looks like it uses 3 x AA cells.
