Wireless, huh? Then why do I see composite cables hanging off of the cameras?

I've never had a good experience with wireless cameras....unless they are within 10 feet and have a clear line of sight. Stick with wired if you want them farther away and on the other side of walls and such.

#1 I'm assuming the power is wireless and the video is wired.

These cameras can be wireless or wired if you like...surprisingly they do work too. Not the best of course but setting up a cheap surveillance it will do the job.

    #4,#1:
The video is wireless (usually 2.4ghz with a real-life range of 50 feet), the power is wired. If the power were wireless, you'll suck the batteries dry in 4 hours or less.

They have been selling these for 5 years, I was looking at some as apartment surveillance in undergrad, don't they get anything updated?

Do they make waterproof versions of these? I want to mount one in the bottom of the women's toilet...pointing up, of course.

#8 you would definately want it wireless in that case... unless you are also trying to do some snuff mixed in with the hidden camera...
