Newegg is offering a 40% off all HP Ink and Toner discount when you enter in coupon code HP4TONER [Exp 3/18] during checkout. Now is the time to stock on three years worth of ink, just in case you have to print several copies of The Da Vinci Code.

Looks like Newegg raised their prices to offset the coupon.

#1, I agree. My toner is $155 + $9.48 shipping on NewEgg, before coupon. It's only $65 on Amazon with free shipping, no coupon required. Of course, I could pick up an off brand replacement for about $29 from any number of places.

Newegg.com must have an automated system that raises prices on items the minute the percentage of sales for that particular item reaches a certain threshold. They always advertise something and then hours later, if that, the price has jumped up twice! I'm getting tired of Newegg.com now, they have deserted their devout core of customers with their sinister pricing games (along with a host of other companies that do the same).

No kidding...well, for us in California, Amazon is better anyway. Most items I buy are no tax, free shipping. Best thing is, I'm a Prime Member, so I get free two-day delivery on qualifying items, but half the time the stuff arrives next day, depending on which distribution point it leaves from. Plus, prices are generally better than the Egg anyway. Of course, they stick you with a $75 fee for Prime, but you can add four other people to your account and spread out the cost.

Verbatime toners give similar results, cost less, and live longer.
