Sounds like a nice deal since I recently bought 4 AA alkaline for $1.50 to $2.00. However, I wonder how is the quality despite it is alkaline?

#1, I bought a 50 pack from them a few months ago and used them in flash lights, clocks and a wireless mouse. They ran out so quickly that I wanted to call their customer service to stop selling those junks. Maybe I just had bad luck with this shipment. But personally I will never buy those again. They are the worst batteries I have ever used.

I also had bad experience with similar multipack from batteries.com. Price was cheap but fresh 4 AA batteries put in my camera's external flash would not even power it up. The LCD displayed "low battery" warning. I guess they are good in low power devices like clocks only.

    Hey.. Hey... Hey....
Don't dis these batteries just because they don't work very well. This deal is all about the stylish organizer tray. You buy this for the tray and use it to display your brand name batteries. Keep it right out there with your flashlight and 15 lcd tent light and other personal battery operated items. This tray is a real looker! Consider it an $11 tray with 50 free batteries, whether they operate your equipment or not...

The Costco alkaline batteries are excellent, and a very good value.

handy organizer tray that will fit in most any drawer or shelf. It is slim and sleek. It comes with a clear plastic cover that keeps the batteries from falling out. Do not pull your hair out wondering where your batteries are when you desperately need them. Now they are in one convenient location neatly arranged for easy access. And you will know they are fresh each time you take one out. No more loose batteries rolling around in the drawer and wondering if they are any good. You will wonder why nobody ever sold batteries like this before. It is the ultimate convenience. The next time the batteries go dead in your remote control, you will be able to fix it before the next commercial. All of this from Batteries.com, the leading name in online battery sales since 1999.

    Umm, are they on crack?
Last thing I ever thought when i bought a nice small pack of batteries was "damn if only they took up the whole freakin' drawer, or OMG(!) I could buy a special briefcase for each tray and be 1337.
