Anybody know their quality?
Sweet deal, even if the only last half as long as the name brands. Beware, their website has an annoying order confirmation with a loud audio clip.
Yeah compared to the price of batteries in stores this is a kick ass deal even if they suck. Thanks for the checkout warning #2.
what's a good rate for AA NiMH batteries?
I don't trust crappy brand batteries anymore. My dad once bought a huge pack of "Dynacells", and they wouldn't run anything but the Cable remote. My digital camera told me to change the batteries as soon as I put them in. Not to mention that the metal casing was soft enough to crush in my fingers.....
These batteries DO NOT SUCK. I got a brick of these a while back on a sweet deal, and have been using them in my wireless xb360 controllers and digicam, good performance for cheap batteries.
Unforunately I disagree w/ #6 - I got some AAAs from Batteries.com and they didn't last at all....put them in flashlights and within a few months (of sitting around "OFF") the batteries were dead...I'd avoid this.
These batteries are not for digital cameras #5. You should be using e2's for all digital gadgets. This is a great deal for those Christmas toys your kids well receive.
Yeah; great deal for toys and just keeping on hand for whatnot, remotes and such.
Good deal for 50 batteries. I picked up Rayovac 24 packs from Albertsons last week for $5.99. What makes this deal great is the $1 shipping where other places would charge $5!
#5, "dynacells" are those cheap duracell look-alikes. They're old fashioned carbon batteries and are practically worthless. You fell for a scam.
do us all a favor and get rechargeables
The quality of the batteries that I received from Batteries.com was good for the price. Quick turnaround on shipping as well.
I used these in a giveaway of some Halloween flashlights this year, where rechargables were cost prohibitive.
I would definitely get these for the countless times that my kids try to steal my batteries for their little toys. It's worth it just for that.
