I think if I joined Netflix I would just live on my couch. Kind of like ellory, TheKitty, and Kotackchi.

They have one month free offers all the time. Currently I pay $9.75 for two out at a time unlimited games and movies per month from a competitor anyway.

They limit you to 13 movies a month on the 3 at a time plan. I used to rip DVDs and return them immediately and watch at my leasure, but I think I have just about every movie I am going to want to watch for a good long while.

I have switched back and forth between NetFlix and Blockbuster and NetFlix still beats Blockbuster hands down.

#13's experience echoes mine -- not to mention blockbuster's poor selection of foreign films.

Brick and mortar BB is doomed. Netflix's system of queueing, distribution, and selection is just too hard to beat.

I was paid to use both for 3 months, and every month Netflix pulled the same crap while Blockbuster continued to send me movies. Match that up with the free in-store rentals Blockbuster sent me every month and the winner was a no brainer.
I continued on with Blockbuster up to February 2006 on my own dime and have since stopped using them because I got tired of burning movies I never watched. Has Blockbuster really downhill that much or has Netflix just started providing better services? Somehow I don't believe either has happened.

netflix is good at getting you some movies but some are on permanent waiting status. I discontinued since the movie turnaround time was over a week.
