Im not sure if you can ever get this TV to be 1701. II tried clicking through the website and it says that the 10% is "automatically" deducted from the cost of the unit. Once you click on checkout, the cost is 1890. I think the 1890 price includes the 10% off of the price. Anyone else had better luck?
I was able to use the coupon below to get 150 dollar off. That puts the total after tax and CA fee to be around 1880, still a very good price.

#3 its an affiliate only 10% discount. u have go to circuitcity.com through the link provided and then shop for the TV. At checkout the 10% is deducted and the TV price indeed drops to 1701 + shipping + tax.
10% works out slightly better than the $150.00 discount code.
#4 Yes Panasonic is one of preferred brands for Plasma.
I wonder if Panasonic is so well reputed should one buy the additional 3 Yr protection plan as well ???
