I don't think that the deals are as good as last years.

Radio Shack lost my respect when they started pushing cellphone plans. I'm sorry, but forcing your employees to harass customers about that shit is just not cool. I still stop in once in a while when I need components they have, but that's less and less often as their selection gets worse and worse. I'd rather just order from Digi-Key or Mouser, get the right component the first time, and have it delivered straight to my door.

can someone tell me if Readyboost actually works? I read an article before and it gave it improved specs of maybe 5%. Um, this isn't even worth my time if I have to plug it into the side or back of my laptop.

#20, HDTV antenna is just a sales gimmick term to fool the uninformed. Any old rabbit ears antenna will pick up analog and digital signals, which include HD signals. What's important is an ATSC tuner, either built-in into the tv or dvd recorder, or as a standalone tuner box.

Thanks #30...I've never been cheap enough to care, but I know a few people who have 'ditched the dish' and gone back to them...a bit ghetto if you ask me.

They are not available online and only available in store on Friday. I'm thinking of getting the hard drive too. I wonder if I can get one w/o waiting in the cold for the night..
