Not impressed by TrendNET stuff - I replaced a Linksys b/g RTR with TrendNET when the Linksys died. Now, I lose signal at 5 feet from the router and drop it altogether 3-4 times a day. Linksys was rock-steady. TrendN looks cheap, awful UI, have not been able to modify privacy settings (WPA shared key or other options) and no response from the support.
Steer clear fellas.

Carlos Slim has lost touch with the American customer offering this bottom of the barrel junk.

CompUSA stores are all gone around here. I do notice quite a few people having problems with their drafted N with all brands, maybe some bad defective chips roaming around, or just bad firmwares.

Companies are trying to get their first hand to consumers with their early 'N products. Compatability between different brand will definitely be an issue. However, if you buy from adapter and router from the same brand, I don't think it's an issue since they've been well tested.

#1, I originally had that problem with my Trendnet Router too, until I turned on the extended range feature, or whatever it's called. Worked like a charm and I don't lose signal anymore.
Only downside for me is that the routers don't have much range.
