Great product. I paid $60 after $20 rebate. This is about the best deal(except free) you are likely to see.

hauppauge is a great name in tv tuners, they offer quality products.. i have an older pci model ine one of my desktops and it does a very good job. Im not a fan of rebates, but compusa is very good to deal with on rebates, although you could be waiting 6-8 weeks, but you will get it

I bought one of these about a year ago to check out what digital channels I could pull out of the air (without spending all the money on a TV with an ATSC tuner). The product itself works fine, but by 1.6G Celeron M notebook computer can't keep up with the decoding demands for HD channels. It does fine with the analog and standard def channels, though. As I say, that's the fault of the computer I'm using, not the Hauppauge USB tuner.

This is a -super- deal at $30 AR if you can get to a store (Best Buy killed my local CompUSA...bah) and need a digital tuner for a notebook.

If you have a desktop, I would recommend a plug in card with hardware decoding.

Including, this one in particular, I don't think any of these USB HD tuners have worked better than a card tuner for me. On my Envision Television here at home I get NBC and FOX HD standard without a digital cable box through the built in tuner, but this USB tuner along with the Pinnacle brand one I purchased do not pick up those channels stand-alone, whats the point of having an HD tuner it it doesnt get the HD channels....
