It won't sell as well in NY/NJ where most people take their cars to carwash.

spray waxes look great for about 8 hrs. The remainder of the products work well.

Get and use a clay bar first. Especially if you park outside. It will make the wax perform better.

This is some of the best car wax money can buy... it really is great stuff!

Also... They have the different stages from cleaner, compound, wax, clear protective etc. This is NOT the arm breaking stuff you find in the can, this comes off very easily with or without a buffer. Get it... trust me you won't be disappointed.

meguiars makes good car wash products.. not sure that most people would buy all of these in one package.. but the price is probably pretty good

Meguiars is ok, but if you want to get serious, go Zaino.

    $18 is expensive for me
    #12   fboutlaw11 - Posted 8:04 pm PST 11/23/07 (185 Posts)
But #11, if you buy all this stuff separately it'll cost a more than twice as much.

Maybe #11 is used to using dish soap on his car...

Not bad if you can free shipping on it. Each product retails for between $4 to $5 locally.

#11 - If $18 is expensive to maintain your car, you must drive one piece of shit.

I'm with #10 here - Zaino is the way to go if you are a true automotive detailing aficionado. The upfront cost is higher than OTC car care products like Meguiar's, but it's easy to maintain and the results speak for themselves. With Zaino, my 2.5 year-old car looks like it just rolled out of a showroom (except for those door dings from inconsiderate jerks, who probably drive POSs that they wouldn't bother spending even $18 for detailing products on Wink ).

    I'm with #17.

There are other products out there that might make it look better. But if you go through all the steps, you're a rare car owner these days, and your car will reflect the work.
