50 beans? so not worth it to deal with amex. and $125 per year "membership fee". the starwood amex card that gives you enough points for 2-3 night in nice hotels is much better.
It's ridiculous to pay $35 for a credit card when all visa/MC cards more widely accepted and free. I think I'll start charging people for air.

Yea, you can get a free card, but these cards have good bonuses if you want them. I use their roadside assistance instead of paying for AAA and I use their purchase protection program whenever buy.com wont take something back!
I pay $395/year for my AmEx Business Platinum. The benefits that come with it are nice.
