On top of the page, there is this statement,

^ I think that just means you can't use the %-off Advance Auto coupon codes on oil... same statement is present even on their $9/qt. Mobil1 oil that has no rebate.

Not sure how exactly the rebate works!!
You fill out the info on the rebate website, but you get nothing back, ..... no printout of rebate form, no email confirmation,.
How do you get the rebate????

Their site also uses a popup to open that link which downloads to your browser a custom PDF rebate form with the personal info you submitted, already on it, which you mail in along with the store receipt having circled the purchase price.
I just tried this a second ago and it worked for me, though if your browser is blocking things you might need to disable that browser feature. I disabled Adblock+ and allowed the popup in Firefox.
Deal is over, though it looks like you can still use the rebate elsewhere, for example Walmart has a 5 qt jug for $17-19 before rebate depending on viscosity. Not "as" good a deal but still under $2/qt.
Thanks for the info. Looks like my browser was blocking the popup, I never saw the pdf file. Too bad I missed the deal.
