I have this set. It's flimsy, scratches easily, was a pain to put together, and you definitely cannot fit 4 people around it comfortably. On the other hand... it's $170 and works perfect for my first apt. post college needs. Cheapest furniture store 5 piece sets were in the $400+ range and it's quality is comparable to any walmart/target etc. furniture. Just don't expect it to be your life long kitchen table or anything
