Still expensive. These are classics, art films, imports, cult classics. But the MSRP on movies like Harold and Maude or Chaplin's Gold Rush runs about $40 on average. So if you want The Seventh Seal for $20, go for it.
I cannot emphasize enough, it's 50% off MSRP, not the existing price. Still good if you happen to have $50 worth of Criterions in your must-have list.My list, however, is much longer, and the disposable income is much smaller, so I'll have to take a painful decision.
