Sony was only relatively inexpensive with their first products because their competition was US or European made. Since then, top price on all lines. Some weird stuff, such as a tiny radio with all its accessories in a case larger than a much bigger radio with all the stuff built in.
Based on what I've heard on the news, the exchange rate is what is largely responsible for killing Sony's competitiveness. Seems pretty clear when you look at those prices.
They are smokin some serious crack to think anyone would pay those prices for refurbished crap! What gives?
