That's a hell of a lot of devices. The majority of these would reach shelf life before being used for 99.9999% of potential buyers.
Depends on the device. If you decided to pick up the walkie talkie watches that keep being listed you'll end up going through 8 batteries every few days/weeks.

the shelf life of these batteries are phenomenal. I deal in antique toys and it is common practice to find small toys with these in them that are 20 plus years old and still work.
The biggest problem with the average user is finding where they stashed them when they do expire.
