Buy.com has this Memorex DVD+R 8X Double Layer Media 8.5GB (2 x 25 Pack) Spindle for $30 with free shipping. Even if you factor in the double capacity, the price/storage is still more than double that of single layer media. [Compare]

I like how Ben rounds up his prices to whole numbers on item like these.

Ive had practically nothing but coasters on these. Verbatims give me zero problems. In fact, my experiences with these are so bad that I avoid all Memorex media. Maybe I dont need to, but I dont want to take the chance.

When DL discs came out, I bought these and had 1 good burn out of 10 attempts, so I ended up with 9 coasters. Horrid experience.

these are Ritek/Ridata 8x discs but i always burn at 2.4x
They work fine on my burner and work well on 360.
Just make sure your firmware is up to date...

Since the Ritek DL media are selling for 25/$20 above, this is a better deal if you can use more.

I've never had an issue with these on my Pioneer burner, and it does matter what burner you use. I have a Lite-On that sometimes doesn't read some DVDs and both of my Pioneers have no problems reading them. The price is what they usually go for...I think I got these for the same price from Newegg a week or two ago and they were delivered next day.
