I agree. I can pick up 2 50 packs of non DL DVD's for under $20 total
#1 you need to re-read what Ben said instead of stating that you disagree, then posting something that backs up his statement.
It's always noted that the 'price of single layer DVDs is less than half the cost of these....' It's not just the price comparison that's important here. Dual Layer is a MUCH better solution in some situations - namely, backing up movies. Most movies will not fit on a Single Layer DVD. If making a comparison it should be about the cost of other Dual Layer media -

I rather use one of these for imaging drives than two DVD. Loose one of the DVDs and your backup is useless.
If you back up to one DL, and lose one... it's useless.
Buy at your own risk. I wouldn't roll the dice on Memorex DL discs. Verbatim all day/every day, baby.
When I see these for $10, then I will give them a try.
