why would you use paper sleeves?
This deal brings to mind the old grocery store question (and I do mean old in this day and time) "Paper or plastic?"
CD Binder > than these.
I have been buying from SuperMediaStore.com for a few years now and they always get my orders to me super fact. They are kind of the Newegg of Media stores. I buy all my hardware from Newegg. I buy all my media from SuperMediaStore.
i love meritline and bens bargains
You know Ben's giving away stuff for postings when you get 20+ comments about CD sleeves.
this is a pretty good deal - great way to store your cd's. i remember i did get 500 sleeves for $12 and free ship from meritline some way months back..
#24, Supermediastore is nothing like NewEgg. Supermediastores's return policy sucks. If you get an item that is damaged you have to pay for return shipping! It's even worse for electronic items. If you want a replacement for a DOA item they will send you a REFURBISHED unit after 6-8 weeks. No thanks!
As for media, the last time I ordered TY valueline DVDs from them approxmately 30% were damaged.
"If I want to lend a disc to a friend, a jewel case would be a better choice."
you dont have a lot of friends? dont lend what you cant lose, hence copy and give paper sleeves. who the hell buys plastic jewel cases to give to people?
"These are very popular with counterfeit software pirates"
that's right, and when burning and handing stuff out, carrying the plastic jewel cases is stupid.
paper sleeves will get scratches on your cd
haha i buy a bunch of paper sleeves so i don't have to fold paper to give cds to friends.. looks a little less cheap haha
It's a good deal. I wouldn't use them for my own storage, but my company sends out demo discs of software and such all the time, and paper sleeves mean you can stick this in a large envelope and don't have to ship it in a box (if I were using a jewel case). I think I might have to get some!
i need these...
