I was going to buy it but...

"Runs 5 minutes of continuous use on full charge"

    Forget it.

not a bad price for the dyson name. Any reviews?

Looks like something Han Solo used to shoot first.

I actually jsut bought it. it's a dyson product so the quality must be really good. I've seen some reviews that are just full of positive feedback. Also... 5 minutes is enough it's a hand vacuum... are you going to vacuum the world with it ?

Oh for heaven's sake, isn't someone going to post something tasteless and offensive about this?

when spec says 5' it means you will get 3' the most after couple times of use. After couple months it'll be 1-2'; it's ok if you vacuum your car with 5' but talking about cleaning house in places that regular vacuum cannot reach... takes much longer than 5'

I assume you can leave the cord attached and run ... forever.

This stuff is so heavy that defeats the purpose of having a handheld vacuum. Dyson sucks.

Just use the damn hose attachment on a regular vacuum.

I have a Dyson regular vacuum (refurbished from Amazon), and the thing is just awesome. It beats the crap out of any other vacuum I've seen, and it lasts longer. Who knows if this thing is any good, but Dyson is pretty awesome.

This is one of those products where Dyson is just trading on their name because of their success with larger vacuums.

    Woohoo, this thing sucks.

I have one of these and it is awesome. It is the only portable that is able to clean up after my two kids. Also, I use it to vacuum out the car. It does a great job and has just enough charge for a larg SUV. It certainly beats dragging the regular vacuum and extension cord outside.

Most Dyson products seem to be well thought out except this one. It may work well but they really need ot work on the portability and practicality. And it really does look like an alien probe and insemination device. I'll keep my dustbuster.

is there a cord connection to this? it doesn't one in the description.

Dysons are pretty good machines - better for dog hair, etc. But 5 minutes really isn't enough - especially for the price.
