Given that it pulls its own power from a wall plug, I'd be very surprised if it didn't support usb charging, etc...
I can't afford another plug in the wall however, so I'm afraid it won't work for me.

Getting a 7 port hub that didn't have it's own (wall) AC-DC power supply would be ignorant. Spend the $4 for a (or another) multi outlet strip already.
