Eddie who? Are they trying to make a line of crap that represents that garbage ford explorer? All American companies cant make a quality vehicle if their life depended on it. Oh wait it does and the recalls just keep growing. Russia took GM out of Europe. Japan took ford out of America and Europe took the cherry from all the new makes. I dont think those CEO's understand yet that quality sells. They are still trying to do the slow upgrades and masive lay offs. I wonder if the employees do a good job when half the company is being layed off? Would you do good work for a company that announced plans to lay off 30k, but not for 2 months. I stopped buying eddie bauer once they stopped putting seven belt loops on their jeans.

I think these companies days are numbered. Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Sharper Image, Pottery Barn, they all sell such overpriced crap, and no one is buying their stuff any more since they haven't updated their look in so many years... These stores will go under and hopefully some innovative retail genius will come along and invent some awesome stores to replace them, like Aeropostale ... affordable clothes for the masses... IKEA affordable furniture... etc.
