and how is this a DEAL Ben?

this is def. not great, have these at my apartment and sometimes it's just annoying to use, but it's a much better idea to use these than get a full set of weights.
adjustable dumbbells are very expensive so this is cheap. Why are they annoying to use #3?

Just join a gym, because I promise you that you won't use this for more than a month, if that.
These have the same issue that the Weider Tech adjustable dumbells have in that they are not machined well so when you get them they tend to stick so if you select say 40 lbs one dumbell will have 40 lbs on it and the other will have 45 or 50 which can be frustrating until they get broken in. Also, these are not good for flys or any exercise where you might have to drop the weights. If you drop these (just like the Weider or the Bowflex) the spindle has the tendency to bend slightly making them unusable.
Drop? They let you drop your weights at your gym? At the ones where you pay to go, you'll be shot for yelling/dropping/smelling.

Yeah and after a month I think you will be at the gym looking at something other then the wife to bench also.

If you can pick these up in store that would be a better deal.
There are too many dumbbells on this site talking crap.
the grunters, screamers, droppers, and freak shows that pose in the mirror are paid employees of the gyms...for regular people's entertainment.
Using these with your new Teva sandals could be hazardous to your toes.
